Date changes, cancellations and refunds After having reserved a course or an activity, if you wish to change the date or cancel, here are the policies in effect depending on the time between your request and the holding of the activity; More than 14 days before the activity: Free date change or full refund 7 to 13 days before the activity: Free date change or 50% refund Less than 7 days before the activity: No refund, administrative fee of $100 for a date change If the activity is canceled by La Liberté Nord-Sud due to the weather or a lack of participants, a change of date will be preferred. If it is absolutely impossible for you to postpone (because you live in another region and were only passing through for example), you will get a full refund. Refunds Any refund following the cancellation of a reservation will be made via the payment method used for the purchase (credit card, gift certificate, etc.). A customer cannot request a refund via another payment method. If an activity was booked using a gift certificate and is subsequently cancelled, the amount will be returned to the gift certificate and not refunded in cash or on a credit card. Meteorological criteria that may justify the cancellation of an activity Please note that only the administrators of La Liberté Nord-Sud can decide to cancel an activity. Participants cannot make such a decision themselves. You will be contacted no later than the day before your activity if it is canceled. If you are not contacted, you can assume that your activity will take place. Rock climbing: Our courses take place rain or shine. In case of rain, our instructors will do everything in their power to mitigate its effects (holding part of the course indoors if possible, putting up tarps, etc.). Please bring a raincoat. Liberté Nord-Sud reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a training day if a major weather event is forecast that would jeopardize the safety of participants and instructors. Our introductions to rock climbing (climbing day) may be canceled if rain is forecast at 60% or more for the majority of the day and in significant quantities. Ice climbing: The activity could be cancelled if the forecast calls for more than a 60% chance of rain and an accumulation of 10 mm or more or if the thermometer displays below -25C (actual temperature , not “feels like”) for the majority of the duration of the activity. The decision can be made the day prior to the activity at the latest.
